Volkswagen has re-thought the SUV. The new Touareg 150TDI is a car that is equally at home driving to the local shops or heading for the great outdoors. Powered by a frugal but potent turbocharged common rail diesel engine (producing 150kW of power and 400Nm of torque), paired with an 8 speed automatic transmission and 4MOTION® full time all-wheel drive, the 150TDI also includes as standard a raft of technologies including ABS, ESP, Brake Assist and more. All of which combine to make it a car that is a sheer pleasure to drive. It also comes with enough extras – fog lights, parking distance sensors, chrome body highlights, heated door mirrors and more – to make it one of the best equipped 'standard' models you'll find.

Inside, it's as safe as it is comfortable. With 9 airbags, safety optimised front head restraints and a host of active and passive safety systems, you're as protected as can be. Off road functions including ABSplus, hill descent assistance, traction control and an adapted transmission shift program mean make it a genuine all-rounder.
