Enjoy the 6.5-inch touch screen multi-function entertainment unit with 6-disc in-dash CD changer and auxiliary input as standard, as well as Bluetooth® phone connectivity, operational via touch screen display or Multi Function Display unit. Or upgrade to the optional Satellite Navigation System with high resolution touch screen display, featuring topographical and 3D (bird’s eye) map views, including voice control for telephone, navigation and radio functions. The system also includes an integrated 30GB hard drive for music storage, SD card slot and single DVD drive for audio/ MP3 playback. For impeccable sound quality upgrade to the optional Dynaudio Excite premium audio system. Featuring an impressive 300W digital amplifier with 8 speakers you’ll hear every beat, note and lyric. The system is available with both the standard entertainment and optional Satellite Navigation unit.
‘R’ Styling
Step inside the Scirocco R and notice a range of details designed to both look good and improve your driving experience. Note the triangular door handles, unique to Scirocco, finished with black gloss detailing. The black gloss detailing continues down the centre console, complimenting the ‘Silver Lane’ decorative trim of the instrument panel and unique pedals in aluminium. Never forget the power of the Scirocco R with aluminium door sills, the steering wheel and front head restraints discreetly displaying the ‘R’ logo. Specify the optional DSG transmission and enjoy a chrome-plated gear knob with DSG lettering etched into the top.
Seats
Following in the footsteps of the original Scirocco, the Scirocco R is a true 2+2 coupé with four individual seats, including open rear head restraints. Combining comfort for the everyday commute and exceptional ergonomic stability for those more challenging corners, the seats are upholstered in our stylish and sporty ‘Kylami’ black cloth with accents of ‘San Remo’ grey microfibre and finished with contrasting grey stitching.
Steering Wheel
Grip the three-spoke multi-function leather steering wheel and notice the sporting touches that filter through to every element of the Scirocco R. Feel the flat-bottomed steering wheel, taking its cue from a racing car. Notice the grey stitching and gloss black accents and change gear at the click of a finger with the steering-wheel mounted gearshift paddles for DSG-equipped models. Glance at the instrument panel featuring blue needles and be reminded of what the Scirocco R is capable of with a 300km/h speedometer.
